The High Speed Planetary Stranding Machine is designed for high-volume production of multi-core cables, such as control, power, and data cables. It's a key machine for applications requiring dense, high-quality stranding, including charging piles, photovoltaics, and robotics.
Working Principle & Key Features
Planetary Cage Action: Multiple reels are mounted on a rotating planetary cage. As the cage orbits a central axis, each reel simultaneously rotates on its own, twisting the wires together. This "sun-and-planet" gear system can be configured for back-twisting to produce round, compact, and concentric cable cores.
High Speed & Productivity:
Modern machines are engineered for high rotational speeds and line speeds, significantly boosting output while maintaining quality.
Uniform Tension Control:
Equipped with individual tension systems (magnetic brakes, hysteresis, or dancer arms) managed by PLCs to ensure consistent lay length and prevent conductor ovality or surface defects.
Versatile Configurations:
Available in various sizes (e.g., 315, 400, 500, 630) with different reel capacities (6, 12, 18, 24, 30) to accommodate a wide range of wire diameters and final cable sizes.
